I put together an SSL channelstrip plugin test where I compared the Waves CLA mixhub, SSL Duende and the BX 4000e. I was initially going to include the HW as well but my local tech who has a nice sidecar did not have it in his shop at this very moment. I'm sure I will do a follow up on that though!

But perhaps you guys will think it's quite interesting to hear a SW comparison as well. I tried to match the setting as close as I possible could using Waves Qclone. Sure I hear like 0.4 db differences in the stems but I did the best that I could.

Hmmm... The results from the difererent SSL seems more close than the 1076-test you did.
