I’m going with F being the most cohesive and having the most depth. Thanks for doing this. Can you please pm me?

So so close for my ears! With no experience with the hardware unit I'll still take a guess that C was the hardware! Please PM me the results! :D

Can I have the results in a DM as well, please?

I like C and F the most, though I am coming to the conclusion that compression on both tracks is the most obvious, that's why they sound more "glued".

PM sent. I really carefully matched the gain reduction, but agree these two tend to grab the most/hardest.

Thank you!

Since I have the second generation of Stam's compressor / SA4000MK2, I decided to run the raw signal through it to check out the result.
If anyone is interested, feel free to check out / compare. I've matched the loudness to the rest of the files for the consistency, and used the same settings.

GR for this one is 3-4 dB (see the picture in the attachment)

For this one I've simply added +3db on the compressor's input.

Enjoy! Honestly, I am very happy with the results I got.

JSchlomo - Please let me know if it is not appropriate to post it here, and I'll delete it.

Even with the same set of ears, listening at different times, we can many times hear things differently.

Great test. I own a few pieces in this shootout but have no idea which is which
They are not that far apart, for the most part.
C and F are probably my faves for THIS song.
Thanks for this test.
Pm results please.

Hey man, who am I to tell what's appropriate. I'm sure it's of interest to many. I will only add that it's not a 100% valid comparison because I calibrated them all very specifically and painstakingly since needles won't tell you everything and because you most likely have a different converter than me.

Great shootout, honestly hard to tell which is which. Could you send the PM?

By the way, you should add the sonimus satson CS compressor, it's pretty good

Coming! I think I won't add any new files since it will undermine results so far. Would already have added my Smart C1 then.
