What Movies Do You Find Yourself Watching....

no matter how many times you've seen it before?

For me it's consistently 5

Shawshank Redemption- just an amazing movie

Life- Eddie and Martin at their best

The Green Mile- hypnotic

Saving Private Ryan

Troy

and that Jackson 5 movie that comes on VH1 every 2 weeks.

Some old, some new. Weird how they have lasting appeal but they do

No Highway in the Sky

Ring Trilogy (Japanese)

Lord of the Rings

Terminator

Ipcress File

North by Northwest

A lot more besides.

Amadeus - absolutely perfect film.
Finding Nemo - gorgeous, wonderful movie.
Pulp Fiction - I can write down most every line.
Enter The Dragon - the entire film, scene by scene, is in my head.
Training Day - guilty pleasure. A movie I shouldn't really like but I love it anyway.

It's always inclement in Manchester
I liked the Thing prequel as well, pretty good. Also Prometheus ain't as bad as some peeps have said.

Had a chance to see the Korean film 'Brotherhood Of War' recently. The scope of the film, as well as the scenes of brutal war violence, supersedes that of films like 'Saving Private Ryan' or 'Platoon.' At times, the film is a bit melodramatic, and there are a few scenes which seem totally implausible, but if you can overlook those shortcomings, it's highly recommended.

The 4 foot plus snow drifts are bit out of the ordinary .
Especially this time of year .
I'm stuck in the house watching movies whilst my camera and lenses are so much expensive paperweights .

It's grim alright but not a flake of snow here all day, what came yesterday melted before it hit the deck. I'm feeling cheated and pissed off I can get to work tomorrow

We were talking at work about this erratic weather. Still no snow here but freezing cold winds. Places like Rochdale and Oldham seem to have had lots of snow. We might have some kind of thermal barrier around South Manchester that doesn't permit snow in but ignores gale force winds
