i havent seen them play this well since my dad took me to games at maple leaf gardens when i was a kid. if they can up their goaltending game (which to their credit they have) we certainly have a playoff team and almost certainly division and possibly conference champs.

Yeah the ACC hasn't seen much success, but this season should be different.
It's only November though...

nice to see edmonton win tonight. ideally the playoffs this year should have these teams: toronto, edmonton, winnipeg, detroit, calgary and buffalo.

other than your home team who do you want to see in the playoffs this year?

Well the Leafs finally have to be in. I'd like to see the elite teams in the playoffs because I love watching the best of the best so...Penguins, Wings, Boston and maybe Vancouver, although the Sedins bug me big time.
The Sedins diving almost made me throw something at the TV. Man I hate that diving crap. IT AIN'T SOCCER.

Yes it will. Good test of a team though.
The Leafs have got the B's for the next two games. There's 4 points down the tube.heh We always play like crap against the B's and Kessel just disappears. He may as well not even show up for the games. It would do him good to have a 4 point night against Boston...just once!
And what's Flodida doing all the way up in the standings...FLORIDA?

That's small-medium by todays standards!

ken Hodge Sr was 6'2" 215, he had a booming shot too!

Chara- 6'9 255 lbs, Pronger 6'6 220 (actually tha's kind of wiry for 6'6)
Other than that the average size of the most penalized players is about the same as back then, around the 6-6'2 range 200-220.
Hmmm. Even stranger is that I spent the time checking that out....

rangers/penguins a great 1st period. 16 seconds in a scrap then they got into as they exited the penalty boxes. lundqvist made a ton of great saves early. one of the better 1st periods i've seen this season.

rangers up 4-1 in the 2nd. 3rd period should be interesting.

Woud've been nice if Kennedy pounded Avery more. Can't stand Avery, can't believe he's back in the league.

You an engineer?

Bruins are 2-0 so far against the Leafs with a 13-2 goal differential. However I never take things for granted and I hope they don't either!

Yup, producer/engineer. Back in time to catch the third. 3-2 B's, at least it's not 7-0!!

open net goal. Man the the Bruins own the leafs this season! If the Leafs can avoid the B's in the playoffs we'll have a better chance.

So in my area ( greater Toronto) we get a hockey double header almost every night. The second game on TSN is Oilers/Wild. That Edmonton team is going to be amazing in 3-4 years.

His team mates gave him that nickname because he looked like Andy Gump, the comic strip character.

Very encyclopedic...but it doesn'tt change the fact that we have another B's Leafs tonight!heh
Our #1 goalie is in tonight which may or may not be a good thing. Tough team to have your first game back against.
