Really, eBay? Lying is OK?

So, some guy is trying to sell a (malfunctioning) TR-909 on eBay, asking a stupid amount of money for it, claiming it used to be owned by Skinny Puppy, and before that, Kraftwerk.

Well, that's a lie. But can you report a listing for having a fraudulent description? Nope. That's not an available option. Can you use the support to complain to eBay about eBay? Nope, that's not an available option.

Ghaaaargh!

I can only hope no one is stupid enough to fall for this.

Here for the gear

I bought a Les Paul on ebay that was listed as being a Plus Top Pro. The great price should have told me something was amiss, but I was caught up in the thrill of getting a great deal. 1 week later, a LP 100 shows up at my door. I don't think "caveat emptor" applies anywhere more than ebay and craigslist.

Yeah, definitely. I really only got frustrated because you can't even report it to eBay. Just venting, really.
