When I was in high school our band got all the gigs. Everyone knew us so we changed the name of the band for every gig just for giggles.

One name I always loved was Emperor Norton - we got that from a London Pub Guide - it was the name of a pub somewhere in London.

My all time favorite one was "The Rough Tough Cream Puffs". I cannot recall who pulled that one out of what orifice but to this day it is my favorite name for any band I ever played in.
