This. He's simply doing CEO stuff which I suspect is jolly time consuming.

I don't know, nobody from Behringer/MusicGroup is giving specific info, only some generic stuff which doesn't say crap like the Musicgroup FB response quoted above. This silence often is happening when there is a legal storm going on somewhere. But what do I know? All guesses until Uli or somebody else informs us, or product is actually for sale in shops.

Yes, finally someone who sums it up like it probably is... we will have to have some patience... maybe at superbooth there will be more news

Any thoughts about the perfect compact analog mixer for the RD808?
I have an old Mackie 1202 that I'm looking forward to trying with it.

Define "perfect".

Any mixer will work. Mackie 1202s are definitely fine for most things. Ultimately it will depend on how many Sends and other features you need that also depends on what kind of external processing you intend to do.

Perfect for the RD808 to me would be a mixer with a nice, colorful punchiness.

Unless you're willing to go in high-end territory, i think a good old Midas Venice 160 might please you.
They're now cheap and you'll have some extra channels for other instruments.

That's a very cool suggestion, thanks

The 1202 he has already is as fine as most. I do not think you can get demonstrably better without spending much more, like Toft or Lilo types.

Different, sure. More channels, sure. More Send and Returns, sure. But better? It is too hard to quanitify. Colorful and Punchy are subjective too.

Like Perfect. :D

What would don’t fear the reaper sound like with an 808 cowbell?

I only see 98 and I highly doubt I’ve ever said anything controversial enough to get blocked by anyone.

"the world's largest cowbell" - I wonder how big the cow was, she must have been huge. Sadly when I see the cows with the big bell hanging from their neck, they don't look very happy, disgusted in fact. Back in the day, we had some nice necklaces on our cows, a few really hated them.

Anyway, I wonder how big a drum machine needs to be to hold the "the world's largest cowbell"
