The absolutely amazing story of our fellow Gearslut Henry Olonga

WOW! Bought a bunch of his Nebula libraries, had no idea the guy was a world class athlete, opera singer, and much more, what an amazing story: The remarkable story of Zimbabwean Henry Olonga - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

I bought his Waves Qclone library a while back and like it a lot. I just watched that video. What a brave, talented and driven man. Inspiring! I knew almost nothing about him before that. Thank you for posting.

I was thinking it has to be two different people with the same name but now that I do some research it's true. I mean what are the chances?

I can't say enough good about Henry Olonga - the man even supports an orphanage with proceeds from his work. Speaking of work, Henry offers his All You Can Eat Nebula Pro presets (the 44.1kHz version) for any donation of your choosing. So many presets of high end gear I think it's around 2 DVDs! I know the 96kHz version is 5 DVDs.

What a guy, what a story, what a great life and a good soul.

On so many levels he seems like such an impressive guy.

Here he's singing in Australia's 'The Voice':

From being a cricket star, to taking a hard political stance, to starting again in a new country (or two), getting down to church, grafting away on IRs and equipment and recording in a studio backroom, and speaking in public and singing on television prime time...there's a whole bunch of hardwork, integrity, and humility there.

I normally just read GS but thought obliged to post this

After so much PC it's hard to tell the truth nowadays, but this guy looks like the real deal, so kudos to him.
