Practitioner of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), pranayama and meditation instructor. I've always listened to EM but didn't get into making it until I decided that I could not stand bad healing arts music (cue Native American flute saturated in reverb backed by generic workstation pad with sampled hawk cry. . .) People need those shimmering and belly virus wavetables to get better.
i work graveyards in a hotel doing laundry. it is most definitely a Tyler Durden job. if you can stand having complete imbeciles for coworkers (i *do* work completely by myself though) its pretty koosh for a student. i basically watch movies all night. this way i can consume huge amounts of video entertainment. leaves my days open for school. don't have time for much else, but when i find it i spend it with the machines.
Hey, is that cool little Used Music gear shop near the tube station still there?
I used to go there in the early 90s when visiting Air studios in London. Had some wonderful stuff in there.
(If only I'd bought those used 909s and 303s in the window. )
If there is a used gear shop, then I don't know about it. Suspect it closed down like all the rest when eBay popped up.
There is a new gear shop on Coldharbour Lane (just around the corner from the station)... but it's not got much stuff on offer (no idea how it survives in this day & age when even the likes of Turnkey & Sound Control had to close up shop)... I tend to end up going to Digital Village in Clapham.
If only there was a shop full of cheap 80's Roland gear on my doorstep :-(
Online marketing, Video editing and production, studying psychology. All part time-as I also have this annoying health condition at the moment called CFS.

Cool - I had a good time in Sydney living in Pyrmont for a few months around 2004...where abouts do you play? I liked a few venues around there - Chinese Laundry...cant remember the others...love the Ozzie attitude to partying-and the music taste over there...Ive even considered coming over any living there some day....ironically Byron Bay was my fave spot I visited - home of Rushton...fantastic vibe there...I'd love to surf everyday...
All very interesting to hear different day jobs...
