So I've seen a few gadgets out there that support the "Samsung pro audio" interface (e.g. IK Multimedia). I don't hear great things about the API, but the same Samsung gear that supports the "Pro Audio" API also support HD voice. Any idea if you can get in the signal at a higher sampling rate if it will go out at the same sampling rate? I know how to get it out of the mobile network and into a computer running a DAW at the other end without conversion, I just don't know how to get the signal in.
Also, and go ahead and snicker Apple fans we know the Android ecosystem sucks for this, but does anybody know of an XLR interface for the same API? For example, the existing solutions already have a microphone attached (condenser mike on one end with the DSP gear and a micro-usb at the other), so if you want to say use a Rode Reporter microphone instead, you don't seem to have any options.
