RIP Notre-Dame de Paris

I know it isn't a person, nor is it music related, so feel free to remove this if it's inappropriate.

But wow - this sucks big time. I am an American Jew, so there is no special place in my heart for the 800 yr old cathedral, but the sheer magnitude of it's loss for so many people is gut wrenching.

And it just looked cool.

Sorry to all who feel it's loss.

I animated on Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame". Weird how I became attached to the place. Horrified.

"news of my death has been greatly exaggerated" Notre-Dame De Paris.

It's not exactly dead, it's been just badly injured, but it's still standing up. Damage was mostly to the roof. The structure, the walls are still intact. After a few years of renovation, the old lady will be restored to its former beauty.
