I was very sad to hear this :( I spoke with him before one of their concerts back in 1993. He seemed like a really nice guy. Rest in peace, Keith.

One of the 90's bands I was still waiting to see live, very sad moment, their music filled my teenage years. RIP

I watched them for the first time in an MTV awards show where they transmitted their concert live from another location, I was 11 I think and was very impressed by the music and theatrics

Absolutely gutted at the news. I saw Prodigy at Glastonbury in 1995 and also at a Tribal Gathering in the mid 90's but not sure of the year, absolutely banging shows and Keith bought so much energy and intensity to the table.

R.I.P Keith

Bit of a shock when I heard the news earlier. The Prodigy were part of the soundtrack of my youth in the clubs dancing to Your Love, Everybody in The Place and many other tracks from those first 2 albums which really inspired me and I've collected them all on vinyl and played them often. I've seen them live too and Keith was a big character on stage.

Each to their own and a little bit cheesy, but my favourite Prodigy track from when I was living life to the fullest 2 or 3 times a weekend

Sad news! May he find there what he missed here...
Many of us make music because of people and bands like the prodigy.
Thanks for that guys and stay alive!

One of the rare memorable faces and personalities from the often-faceless world of 90s electronic music.

Music for the Jilted Generation is one of the few truly timeless electronic albums from that era; it sounded like nothing else of its time, and still holds up today. That record's gonna be shaking my house tonight.

49 is way too young, sure it's hard when you aren't young any more but if you take on a hobby like gear and synths it's deffo worth living for, you can mess about with this stuff till you die of old age and still be having fun..

When I first heard Firestarter it was brilliant. The beat alone was infectous. Add Keith, his energy and personality and it was intense. RIP Keith!
