Wow. I am totally shocked and saddened. I saw him, and worked the door, in Munich in '88 on his Faith tour. When he was on, GM was one of the best, most soulful singers I've ever heard. Thank goodness 2016 is almost over. RIP George.

My son and I were making a barbie just yesterday and on came last Christmas.

Most definitely one of the best Xmas songs ever.

RIP George Michael.

The "Faith" album used a lot of Roland Juno 60 & 106 (Pads and Organ on "One More Try"), Yamaha DX7II (Bass on "A Hard Day") and Roland D-50 ("Father Figure" middle eastern-sounding flute melody).

"I Want Your Sex" sounds like it has a lot of D-50 and DX7II. The drums were from the Linn 9000.

I'll say it too ... Very talented musician and singer ... Love so much of his work, especially his 90s output ...

And I absolutely love "Last Christmas" but is it going to be strange listening now? Or will the unlikely timing of his death give it a haunting quality that's already there in the song?
