Best cables for MS20 Mini and Volcas?

There aren't a lot of great choices for 3.5 mm cables really

Any recommendations?

(Especially for someone with a ton of stuff with quarter inch inputs?)

you could always make your own.

buy bulk mogami cable and switchcraft 1/4" and 3.5mm plugs. also heat shrink wire wrap

pretty easy soldering, and you can make it custom lengths

wow a downvote for that suggestion, really?

it wasn't meant to be a rude response.you can make quality cables for a huge discount, and even repurpose older cables that are broken or not being used.

i haven't bought cables in a long time and love making my own.

it's literally 4 soldering connections for a TS cable. doesn't take long at all

Just so you know, that wasn't me -- the thumb-downers are out in force today sprinkling their magic negative nellie dust hither and yon.

I appreciate the suggestion, but it's not something I'm realistically going to get into in the near future.

Would using a mini female to quarter inch male adapter cause any noticeable signal degradation?

i used to use a couple of them and that's honestly why i moved towards making my own cables.

they don't degrade the signal too noticeably when they work. a huge problem with them though is that they tend to become loose or unreliable, where the slightest movement makes them crackle, one channel goes out (if you're doing trs=>trs), or just go dead.

it's been much more stable and reliable to have custom made cables with 1/4" on one end and 3.5mm on the other

you can definitely find cables that exist with those plugs on the end, premade. however from what i remember your options are much more limited.

since your thread title is "best" cables, i really think the best option is to use high quality cable and high quality plugs.

otherwise, if you want the "best" cable made by more expensive brands that come with this setup, you'll pay a lot more

I swear there must just be a load of bots floating around that randomly downvote things, because 50% of the downvotes on this site pretty much make no sense.
