There it is, the Stand alone MPC with

touchsensitive knobs
internal batteries
6 outs
2x Midi + USB

Lets see what else they got... the Quickstart guide doesnt tell much about tracks, sequencing or FX..

More or less money than the Toraiz? Whats your guess?

Wow, i am excited...

Price wise I'm not sure

I also read some where that there is a Renaissance replacement. Supposed to be standalone as well.

Manual says it can be used not just stand alone, but as MPC 2.0 controller too. So i guess, its running the full version.

Yeah, you can see in on the 'internal photos' document. Sits behind a big 'ol heat sink on the digital board. The 2gb ram/16gb flash matches up with the 'A' version of the SOM board, too.

So, it runs some version of Android/Linux, on a 1.something GHz quad-core.

Also, deserves mentioning, it has wifi and bluetooth.

my guess is they are aiming for a just under $1000 price point. Alas, it looks like all-plastic construction.
