Musicians Graphic....

This has been bouncing around Facebook... Someone posted it to my page... At least the keyboardists get the cats, right?

As a lifelong bassist, I can tell you that the image has bassists and drummers backward. Actually, the image should have the drummer sleeping on the bassist's couch with his wife ready to smack him over the head with a frying pan.

I like cats, but I had enough of them, and dogs, growing up that I know better to have them in my own home lol. If I had kids it would probably be different. Plus, I grew up in a rural area where the cats were outdoors most of the time, which I think is best suited. Cats are naturally active and hunters. Indoor cats usually become dull and boring (and sometimes mean). Outdoor cats do funny things like bring home dead rodents and leave them at the door like they are bringing you some food. I can not have an outdoor cat where I live now.

I do have two cats.

But I also have a wife. If it was up to her, we'd have ten cats.

If you view the female characters as nurses helping the invalid then the picture becomes a lot more accurate............the keyboardist get's all the p#ssy.

The point here is that the bassist is never noticed.. but it's great to here that there are bassists with wifes

ps: Yes I'm a bassist too

The 2 bands I was in, the keyboardist easily got laid at least 3 times more than the singers. What a sleezebag tho.
Come to think of it, at least someone was getting laid (I was the bass player)

I don't know if there are any statistics or at least a larger scale survey, but in my little microcosm of the musical world in person and online, I know of far more single bass players than drummers, so the image seems accurate.

I have three cats. I named one of them Fizmo. Seriously.

Maybe I should learn to sing.
