Well, some of that difference is shipping, but remember US advertised prices are never inclusive of tax because it can vary slightly in every different county. How much are the customs duties in Oz? <DELETED BY MODERATOR>

I wouldnt have expected Devine but I'm glad he's doing it. Maybe his style is not your thing but the guy has done a LOT for synthesis. He's a boss.

He's the geek Jordan Rudess

He's got a lot of sound design cred, but that setup in the photos looks so elaborate I feel it might backfire on Akai, eg 'yeah of course it sounds good if you hook two of them up to thousands of $ worth of other gear...'.

Is the plural 'rhythm wolves', or is it just 'rhythm wolfs' when you're dealing with music tech rather than carniverous pack mammals?

Is an official Jordan Rudess seal of approval far behind?

i can understand buying one of these almost as a goof but i would pass on it entirely if i thought two were needed. i can find better ways to spend $400

that was my first thought after seeing that pic. I want to judge the machine by itself, not how it sounds within a $10,000 setup.
