Here for the gear

It looks awesome. In fact, i think it looks so amazing and redish that i dont give a crap how it sounds. It looks that good. But haters have to hate... Red black and white are like my primary colors.

It's in the latest Sweetwater catalog. They're claiming a fall availability. Weirdest launch ever but I still have faith.

Nah ... Silence here would be too forgiving of Akai's marketing disaster (to put it nicely) ...

This is much more fun ...

I remember the good old days - back then people were just throwing out minimoogs when DX7s came in; we used to light cigarettes with ARP 2600s. Roland were gibing away 303s with boxes of cereal in Japan...
I think it was back then that AKAI guru Asahi AkaBoloxi first announced his 'Rhythm Wolfuru'. It's been an open secret in Pro circles that this IS the ultimate analog box, this all started way before youtube etc. At the time we wanted 12bit PCM for more realism but now who's laughing? That 30year development cycle has finally paid off and 'BOOM' AKAI are back to give the Tempest a run for its money. Great times.

What we need is a vaporware analog sequencer that claims to sync up with the Wolf and the Korg Odyssey . . . a sort of "network of imaginary friends."
