On my buy list for this year without a doubt! Love that demo.

I ordered this a day after Musikmesse.
Can't wait for its arrival!

I'll run it through a Schulte Compact Phasing "A" and a Synthoma Elkorus v3, although the onboard FX sounded quite good on the demos - MUCH better than at Musikmesse.

Cheers,
Bert (owner and lover of six vintage stringers)

I will definately buy this thing very soon.
I love the sound of old string machines, but I don't like to put up with vintage gear.

Thomann has them in stock at 248 eur for us EU folks. I've ordered, can't wait to chuck it through my TimeFactor and maybe the MS20's filter.

I am really wondering what these sound like dry through a nice analog chain...

Thomann just told me that delivery will once more be delayed to end of august...I placed order on Thomas mid March and they changed delivery date about 5 times yet.

All the demo's have too much reverb, but its far from crap imho.

For the price, I think it sounds very promising.

Thomann is always changing dates, for whatever new item. At least from those I have followed.

Interesting. I thought the latest 2 demos sound rather excellent, and I'll definitely buy one at that price (and size). Then again, I have no experience with real analog string machines.

My delivery date keeps changing too. These things are in short supply. it seems that this is becoming the norm these days. My relatively recent experience with the Roland Integra 7, the TR-8 and now the Striechfett suggests ambitious availability dates or production issues.

I'm quite excited by the Streichfett. Love those old string machines.

The demoes where they tried to compare to good old stringers killed my lust for this thing and made me want a Korg PE ...
Its like the Streichfett has a bright and nasal filter compared to the oldies and effects dont fix that, but dunno, could be good, just havent heard it in the right setting.

I think this year G-Force is going to sell a higher-than-normal number of VSMs and Odditys....

This thing is taking a lot of time to be released..... these companies should stop advertising new stuff so soon. Take a look at Sub 37... a lot of unsatisfied customers waiting for it to start shipping out of the factory.

This new Waldorf seems like a nice thing though...
