oh, cool. do i need to add my own?

(sorry, but based on GS statistics, there was a 97.3% chance that your question was legit.)

anyway, totally awesome! no idea what they were thinking with the 2-octave keys in the first place. current owners will likely be PISSED.

I think it's logical since the Little Phatty was discontinued to put the Sub Phatty into a 37 key chassis. It's one reason I sold mine.

And this looks like they did quite a bit more with the extra real estate.

i hear the Minitaur is better (?) for bass, but does the Little/Slim Phatty have any advantage over the Sub models? ie - would anyone rather own a L/SP than one of the Subs? (for whatever reason.)

Nope - I'm returning my sub as my slim just kills it for me in every area. I don't care if it had a 67 octave hammer action blah blah. I thought it would grow on me - just didn't

Like a third oscillator....
and a couple more LFOs.....
and no need for a computer editor to access all parameters easily....

My guess is the Slim/desktop/rackmount equivalent: Sub 0 ?

Here for the gear

There's no word "Phatty" anywhere to be seen on the front panel. Fake or not, I like this move. I decided not to buy the Sub Phatty only because of the short keyboard even though I love the sound. I know this was the right decision simply because Moog Music synths will not sound any worse than that and they will not get stuck with 25 keys forever. I just didn't expect any developments so soon.

Hell yeah!!!

I love the sound of the sub phatty, but i always thought that it was somehow a liiiiittle bit too limited for my taste. THIS might solve this problem for me!

I'm quite sure that this will be my first Moog! Excited!!

Looks interesting...though it will probably have an increased price tag to match. The 16 presets along the bottom make me wonder if they found some way to integrate a step sequencer for bassline goodness, but that's probably just my imagination running away with me.

Since it's paraphonic and has a bigger keyboard I expect it to be 3 times as expensive.

Only 2 oscillators in the image, but I like what I see. Particularly with the arpeggiator.

Note that it says Bank next to the presets: may be banks of 16 patches each

Now, please, make the SubPhatty 100 Euros cheaper, and have this for 1100. Deal?

Those 16 preset buttons in a row, step sequencer? That's the only thing I wish my Sub had. So yes, slightly pissed lol

Since this image says Tribute Edition, I expect it may be $100-200 more than a standard Sub 37. Likely would have wood end caps and different annodizing at the back.

Think the other product is a Theremini, someone's been Googling that Tradename website that leaked us AIRA:

There's a LOT to like:

Dedicated button for panel mode
Arpeggiator controls look fully-featured and easy to use
Step sequencer (see arp selector knob)
2 LFOs with lots of features
Duophonic?
More preset memories
