2 sounds interpolation vst?

there used to be one - i cant remember its name... but it didnt vocode it did something different - but there results were quite badly digital, with distortions that sounded bad..

i want to mix some voice with some sound, but in an effective way

Was it Wolfgang Palm's Plex 2 ? (though you can't put in your own sounds AFAIK)

Alternatively, was it iZotope Spectron - Spectral effects processing for Pro Tools, VST, MAS, Audio Unit, and DirectX audio applications ? I think "spectral morph" is the name for what you want to do.

i think it was the old version of morph! checking out spectron now a higher sample rate might swing it

Wouldn't most vocoder type software be able to do something similar? Instead of inputting your voice as a carrier, input another sound.

Also, if you're on a Mac... Prosoniq has a vocoder and a plugin called morph that looks like it does something similar. Unfortunately, Prosoniq does only Mac now, so I've never tried these.

The following all have a take on morphing-- I have not tried all of them though:
Alchemy by Camel Audio
Cube 2 by Virsyn
Metasynth by UI
Padshop Pro by Steinberg
Iris by Izotope
Morphine by Image Line
Flux has some products as well that are based on IRCAM research but their products are $$$
Cycle by Amaranth Audio

Alchemy can actually morph samples using it's additive engine. It sounds nuts.

Couldn't the eps-16+ do something like this? Not necessarily recommending it, since I'm sure it would be ungodly slow (never touched one, but have used DSP functions on machines of similar vintage), but given that it seems like there must be a software equivalent of whatever it did.
