Claps EQ

So the claps used in this song at the beginning:

They are super clean and crisp sounding, probably just a single clap or two layered?

Where is the best spot to EQ boost / cut on claps mostly heard in trap stuff?

Thats just a processed 808 clap. Possibly layered with another pitched percussive hit. Possibly just doubled. You could try throwing a transient designer on and turning up attack. Maybe some tape distortion.

Put an EQ on everything you're layering, set a high pass and bring it up to taste.

Okay thanks! Where should claps usually be high passed? Above 150hz I'm assuming?

Did exactly this, threw the Kramer Tape after some slight EQ and 2 different 808 claps and it made them sound crisp and warm. Thanks man!
