Problem: Ableton upgrade/slice-to-midi

Howdy!

Hopefully someone here can help me.

I upgraded from Live Lite to Live 8, and for the most part it looks like Live 8, but I don't have split to midi. I don't know why. I've re-installed it and re-authorized it and done what comes to mind.

I contacted Ableton about this yesterday but haven't received a reply yet. I was hoping someone here might have run into the same thing or at the least knows something I could do about it.

thanks!

Can you open up Ableton, drag in an MP3 or WAV of decent length, right click on the newly created clip in session view and take a screenshot while in that state?

It might help us diagnose the issue.
