Image Line Drummaxx kick klick

When you have a kick with a long decay and it's retriggered,
then you get a click. :( Is there some work around?

i have heard of it.
i have it. but.. i dont use it.

a work around would be use 2 instances of it with the same patch, each on its own track in daw. alternate the kick drums between them

EDIT:
another work around would be to render a single kick hit and use that as audio

If u want ur kick to be more clicky, just add a compressor with a long attack

good idea!

why you don't use it? You can get very creative and intimate with it.

sounds too cheap?

problem is totally different. When you retrigger the bd, you may get a click
if the bd is not silent at that time.

I understand the workarounds. It's just that I am such a perfectionist. This software could be perfect. And when you have to find workarounds, it just slows down the workflow and workflow gets more and more important to me. It's not a huge problem as you can always lower the decay which is a good thing in most cases anyway.

I got sick of all the samples. Always going to find the right bassdrum etc. I prefer to design the BD myself, except when the BD is already part of a complete multi sample patch program.

Same here. Used it in one or two tracks when I first got it, since then its been unused.

what I like about it is the principle of triggering patterns which start the moment when you press the key. Not a sequencer which runs always in sync with the host.

I haven't noticed what you're talking about, but you'll probably get a lot further in a fix is you post on the Image-line forum.
