What should I replace my CS6x with? Keyboard Synthesizers

What should I replace my CS6x with?

I do like my CS6x as a MIDI controller but as a synth I almost never find or make any useful sounds on it compared to my other synths. And the useful sounds I do make just make me want a Waldorf or good FM synth of some kind.

I could just keep it around as a MIDI controller but I'm trying to limit myself to 1 61 key and 1 88 key synth as I live in Asia and havent settled down yet.
So I feel like its a bit of a waste of that space.

One other option is putting the PLG AN and DX boards inside my CS6x but it seems like they dont integrate that well with an already mediocre interface and also they are fairly expensive.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good replacement, preferably under 600 USD?

It should have good key action, good arp or fast/easy to get into sequencer, at least a few knobs (with a few CC assignable) good sounds (!!!!) and preferably expandable.

Shower me with wisdom!
