Two Motu Express XT (USB) in one system, possible???

Hi Everybody,
I just need a few more MIDI OUT ports that can be connected to PC (Windows7-64) and controller from my DAW.
Currently, I am using Motu Express XT and it works fine.
Do you have any experience with connecting two Motu Express XT into one computer (especially with Win7 64bits)?
Motu informs that some Windows versions can have limitation of Midi ports (e.g. up to 11). Is that limitation appears in Win7 ?
Motu Timepiece can be "networked" to work together, but do I really need much more expensive gear only for expanding MIDI OUTs ?
Maybe you can advice another solution?
Unfortunately, connecting more gears through MIDI THRU cannot solve may problem... :(

It should work fine in Win XP SP2 and later afaik. Dunno if USB Midi Time Pieces are really that expensive though.... They're cheaper s/h (model's been discontinued) than a new Motu Midi Express 128.

I run 4 of em

I have 4 running (128 version, not the XT, but...) and no problems.
Win7 64bit.

Should work fine, no limitations in Win7 on midi ports that I know of.
(I "see" over 50 on mine, including virtual, etc.)

Thank you all for reply.
One more question.
Do you think that "mixing" one Motu Express XT and one Motu Express 128 should be possible and will work fine (Win7 64) ?

Haven't tried it myself (I only use MTP AV's) but I don't know of any reason why it shouldn't work.

You may be able to use a opcode studio 4 as your expansion and then set it up in clockworks.

I can use them to expand the MTP-AV USB on os OSX.

yes, it is possible. I have 1 XT and 3 128s running on my master system.
