Sample set advice

I have a Jomox Airbase which I will be selling, along with various other items. Before I sell I was thinking of creating a set of samples from it. I am quite new to the sample side of things so was hoping to get some ideas on how to best approach it. I have about 8 weeks until I need to stick her on ebay.

1) hook it up to the best D/A converter you can get
2) sample it at 24/96, going down afterwards is always a possibility then
2) sample sweet spots, not just all possible a*b*c*d combinations of settings (that's going to result in a lot of samples, so you might want to work in increments of 5 or 10 - and thereby miss those sweet spots)
4) sample round robin - e.g. the same kick 4, 8 or 16 times. It's analog, so it's going to be slightly different every time.
5) use a good naming scheme (e.g. kick001_020609_001.wav for the first kick with settings 02, 06 and 09 (I made this up: I've no idea what settings the Airbase has), round robin sequence nr. 1. That way, you can easily create a Kontakt script (or have someone else do it) because it can compose the names based on the settings. Saves lots of programming.
6) create standard MIDI files that you play back at a tempo that's low enough - set and forget for half an hour, while the wave recording is running.

That's just what I can think of right off the top of my head.
