Portable rack mount for gigs?

Hi,

I have a Moog SP (3U), Vermona DRM1 MK-III (5U) and in a couple of months a Sequintix Cirklon (3U) which I want to take live. (I might add to that a 1U stereo delay as well.)

I'd like to put them all on one lightweight and portable 12U rack mount.
I need minimum weight/size and maximum portability, but so far all the 12U portable rack mounts I've seen (SKB, Gator) seem massive, and way too DEEP (as in, dimensions) for the gear I'll be using, which is all very shallow.

I don't have any experience with racks, could anyone recommend a possible solution?

Thanks
Gil

PEARSON CASES

They'll make a rack to any dimensions you want, and will do it much cheaper than SKB, et. al.

Thanks! I guess custom is the way to go.

Oh, I should have mentioned, Pearson makes "short racks" which are only 6" deep, but they don't come with lids standard. They are carpeted and have study handles and are really cheap, though.

Wasn't sure whether you needed lids or not.

A custom built case by nature would give you exactly what you want for that specific gear. If you do go this route make sure you consider carefully your minimum depth requirements, Not just for the equipment but for all connections and access.
Also consider that your set up may change and a larger case would be more adaptable to deeper modules.

Sorry if that's just stating the obvious

I own some SKB "shallow" cases (10.5" deep), they are only available in 2, 3 and 4 spaces.
