Synth porn from rap - electro pop album

This is a behind the scenes peek of an album I recently produced for a friend. I'm posting this under electronic instruments due to the crazy amount of synthesizers both analogue and digital used in the production.

Behind The Hooligan - Making the Album - YouTube

Doepfer and synthesizers.com modulars, Moog Voyager, Andromeda A6, PolyEvolver Keyboard, ARP string machine, analogue vocoders and so on.

Other notable gear used are SM7B, Arabella and TLM103 microphones. Mic pre most often used was a Vintech 573 usually going into a MC77. Instruments were tracked thru Pacifica, Chandler TG2 or Germanium pre and a few other things.

Also experimented with an EVOL Fucifier and Culture Vulture, but they did not make the final cut.

What studio is that?

Based on its location and its contents, I'm guessing it's owned/operated by someone from The Faint.

Close but no. It's my personal home studio. The Faint has a very nice real studio nearby. We have a lot of similar gear but they have a Trident console and I have way more modular synthesizers.

We both have one of 100 Metasonix Tx-1 Agonizers in existence and have had them both in the same room patched in series mangling some poor drum machine.

I really love the studio; it's basically a much larger scale version of my studio. You have fantastic taste in gear - I'd love to hear some of your own tunes!

Thanks! I need to work on more of my own stuff but never seem to find enough time.
