you know i keep hearing this sub genre of a sub genre of a sub genre but i fail to hear what makes it any different.

you see this is where your going wrong. the last year or so dubstep got watered down with electro house and pop. if you want to understand dubstep you need to rewind to the early days when it was good.

everyone is back on the garage these days, dubstep is for geeky trance kids with no friends.

True.. it was better when it was more of grime scene.. but still reminds me too much of Drum & Bass.. which is what it is in the end..

I'm more of rave/house/hardcore kinda guy... throw all that together and some would call it techno.
