FREE: TR505 sample pack for you all

Gift for you all.

A 505 sample pack sampled from my ... wait for it... 505.

Got this thing just recently, she's as new as the day roland made her heh

I dont know why people say it sounds bad, i've attached a loop along with the zip containing the samples, check it out.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Note: these samples are recorded in stereo because the TR505 has a default pan for each of the samples when not playing in mono

Thanks.

Who says it sounds bad?

Sample-based & not terribly versatile... but a classic all the same!!

These are from my own 707, not downloaded off of Music Machines like most people's 707 samples are.

Right on thumbsup thanks for those! I've always dug the 707 snare.

Your samples sound very punchy - were these direct or did you process the dynamics?

I prefer Zipeg on a Mac:

Zipeg - free application to open ZIP and RAR files on Mac and Windows.

but it's always good to have more than one utility for RAR files!

Since everyone is in the giving mood and this is looking like a super cool vintage, cheapy 80's drum machines thread....here is my old RZ-1, unedited/unprocessed, recorded straight in Audacity (AIFF)

Just UL'ed it a few moments ago:

AWESOME!!!

Looks like I almost got the complete TR line-up now in sample-form, RZ-1 (I consider the RZ1 a TR since it's so popular in the 80s and with techno, lol) 505 (I don't think the 66 is that needed since it sounds similar to the 505 iirc), 707, 727, 808 :D

No 909 samples.... I use a real 909 for that

All We need up here is a 606! ...if anyone is feeling gracious enough
