The Sluttiest Xmas Ever!! (Omega 8)

Look what Santa left under the tree for me!! (Well, actually it arrived via UPS on Thursday. ):

Sadly, I haven't had much chance to play with it yet (trying to get my studio up and running without a lot of luck), but from the little time I have spent, it definitely lives up to its reputation!

Did you get the CS-80 filters?
They are a MUST have. Also the op-amp upgrade on the output takes it to a new dimension..

Congrats!

Yeah, the wealth of filtering options was one of the things that really sold me on getting the Omega. After getting so used to having multi-mode filters on my digital synths, I wanted the same option on my main analog.

The black front panel is apparently the standard way they come now--I certainly didn't request it specifically.

I do agree that it looks very nice, though--much better than the old purple ones!

I actually have one CS-80 filter installed on it.

SE was originally supposed to get it shipped to me before X-mas. When they couldn't make it, they gave me the CS-80 filter for free.

As for other upgrades, I think I'll have my hands full for a while with it the way it currently is, LOL.

this needs to be added to the "you know you are too into synthesis when..." thread.

You know you are too into synthesis when: "You drool over pics of someone unboxing their new synth and you have never even heard it before."
