Extracting reverb tail from toms to use as riff

I'm working on this track were the tom's reverb trail sort of make a melody of their own. I tried everything from sampling cooking pots to synth programing to reproduce that sound to no avail.

Is there anyway to extract the melody part of the toms, isolate it, raise the volume and use it as a riff?

Thanks

Maybe I'm not really understanding you... but can't you just hit 'solo' on the reverb buss (or turn it to 100% wet if you are using the reverb as an insert.) and bounce it to audio?

No, the reverb is not an insert, it's the tail that's part of the tom sample.

Cut off the tail and stretch it?

Solo toms, increase attack time on tom samples if you just want the tails.

Yeah use an envelope plugin to increase the attack so it just picks up the tail
