Trying to find that balance in the mix.

Trying to find that balance in the mix.

Just polishing of a new IDM-ish track and I'm kind of unsure as to how this mix is sounding (my perception is surely warped, been listening to it for hours on end)

Too harsh?? Too boomy?? Absolutely perfectheh??

Nice track. Only thing I'd say is that drums are doing that ducking-compression thing to the pads and chords that Justice have made a career of.

I prefer smooth chords, it can be a bit tiring to listen to when the chord volume dips with every drum hit.

But this is subjective - some people (Justice) really like that effect!
