DAW's that can export for producer using Pro Tools?

I am redoing some songs and I am a analog user from the past. I am still trying to find the right DAW for me. I tried Reaper a bit. I kind of like the trial of Mixcraft 5 which I know is not high end but it is easy to use. I like using a step/piano roll seq - but still struggling.

I need to get the songs down dry with no effects then send it to the producer who is a friend of the bass player. Which DAW's will export a file the producer can import to Pro Tools. The bass player said the one in Apple's can. Garage Band? Logic is more than I want to spend.

I was consdiering the freebies that Midi and A/D converters include like stripped down Pro Tools or CuBase.

I like Mixcraft 5's drum loops and it has quite a few VSTs including a Numan Poly Moog. I cannot find a way to export dry tracks into Pro Tools.

Thanks and sorry for the noobie questions.

Are they just asking for a two track? Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic are all going to run you a pretty penny...I like all three of them and use them all still to this day for different reasons...Cubase 4 is my all around go to though
