No doubt... this brought me back to the chill out / come down rooms of the great pre Rave Act parties in Chicago and Milwaukee circa ****93. Guys doing video wall mixing of Terence McKenna speeches in a haze filled room while someone played acid records at half speed. It was more fun than it probably sounds.

Thanks for sharing your work; your video production is tasteful as well.

very plastikmanesque! :> I love the vibe, and i'm sure you have a great time messing around with all of them. I did something similar before, recorded it on tape, and the tape warped :(

Hello slutz,

The album is out now, it was released this week.

Double vinyl, CD or download.

I did the debut live set last week at Berghain in Berlin.
Too hard to bring that 808 on the flight though, so I was using three TB-303 and a analogue solutions modded (a bit beyond that mod though) TR-606 and lots of software effects.

Dubtek71, thanks a lot for posting my previous video!

Hi reverberation. Love this track, so nice to hear the mellower side of 303 rather than the predictable stuff. Occasionally there are some 303 notes with a really long, dark reverb. Any chance of mentioning what hardware/software its from?

Also can you link the site where to download your album?

to put it quite frank, most of the folk that posted on this thread couldnt smell talent if it was sitting under their upturned internet warrior noses. "Where's the beats!?!?!" - rofl.

What Mokira made is one of the most expressive, deep and sensual acid dub cuts you will ever hear. To me, its pure genius, its an intense evolving soundscape and an amazing tribute to the TB. I heard this years ago and keep coming back to it all the time, because deep down its just that beautiful. Keep on creating mate, you are a true inspiration to myself and many other aficionados of acid dub.

What are you talking about? Most people who posted in this thread liked it. There was 2 maybe 3 people who didn't like it. Most did. Maybe you want to read the thread again?

Andreas,
You are a truly gifted musician, but you are too modest...

You tell us that your new album is out, but do not even tell us the name or how to get it!

I searched your YouTube channels and finally found this link to your distributor Kontra-musik.

Kontra-musik - KM029/KMCD04

but...how do we actually BUY your album?

Please take my money!

Awesome stuff. Dub has never done much for me but I definitely dug every video linked in this thread. Loved the way you processed the low end, and the confidence to put that much of the percussion way in the back.

Yea i love this project.. very interesting that he didn't cave into what you would expect with such a setup. As a 303 owner, I find it interesting myself to explore it's realms outside of the typical acid domain... It is pretty awesome though how the x0x gear of that time melds together so well into a kind of Megatron when you chain a few units up to each other... obviously the programming talent here is huge (i honestly struggle a bit with the 303 sequencer although i know the quirkiness is a total part of it's charm) Anyways much respect, can't wait to hear the album!

Hello again people,

Funny, I was also under the impression that people was a bit rude, but when you sum it up, it seems as if you guys enjoy it.

Just got some good words from the man himself:

"Best album so far is Andreas Tillander TM404 album!"

Richie Hawtin / Plastikman

The first edition of the vinyl managed to sell out (I'm a sell out!) the week it was released but the label got the repress two days ago, so it's possible to grab that double LP again.
The CD is also there, of course.

Since monday the album is also available as digital download and streaming.
Bleep / Boomkat etc.

Here's a spotify link: TM404 by TM404 on Spotify

I like it that's why I posted it ...even if I failed to read the notes you left in the comments section.

I also agree with your 202 and Cirklon comments in the Attack interview. It's not hard to program the 202 but it is a pain in the arse.

Edit: also congrats on selling out! and the repress. Nice compliment from Mr.H

I'm getting closer to where I want the set to be.
This summer I'l be doing about ten sets and I'm almost finished with the preparations!

Sorry for the necrobump, but I figure if I have a question regarding this music, I might as well ask the man himself...

What processing are you using on your 303s? Is it just EQ from the mixer? Compression? Mods made to the machines themselves? I don't have an original 303, but the x0xb0x clone, and I can't seem to get the low-end out of my mine that you're getting from those machines. Maybe it comes down to the difference between each 303. I know some "bark" and some "quack," and I think I've got a quacker. I'd like to find more bark.

Also, your album is definitely in my top-five for the year. Soooo goood plz do moar!!!!

Hello Slutz. Here's something I recorded using four Roland MC202's and four tape echoes.

I made my modular decide which 202 is playing what and where the signal is sent.

Self playing "music".
