And my singer has met Depeche Mode and Erasure, ...I would still like to meet Trent Reznor someday.

I enjoyed Slayer from Hell Awaits through South of Heaven. ...wanted to get into Seasons in the Abyss when it came out, but it seemed their magic hour had passed (for me at least - some people love that album). I didn't keep up with them after that.

South of Heaven is most potent in terms of really stirring up the heavier emotions:
Oh sure He knew everyone has to work a waiter job at least once. But I never expected he would have a 40 acre ranch down the road from my grandfathers..(now mine) 72 acre ranch. Life is funny. I may still meet Trent yet...

Sounds like you stepped back into a difficult position.

This song isn't related except that your story reminds me of some of the conflicted stepfather issues Gram Parsons dealt with (documentary Fallen Angel is excellent).

Well, I promised my Grandfather I would take care of his business... He made me promise, before he told me he was a successful person.

Saw Lindsay Buckland play live - the only street performer I've seen who really stopped me in my tracks.

I believe he made the string instrument you see him playing and the drum he was using was a Roland Handsonic.

Miki Imai - Pole Position. Nice 80s JPop with a Jupiter-8 on chords and bass, a Juno 60 on pads, and a DX7 in there somewhere too. Typical 80s video as well.
