do you believe in god?

i dont believe in god, and never have, and never will.

yet i have still met god somehow.

this is how you do it, simple 3 step guide:
1: swallow 4-7 (depending on body weight and potency of pills) pills of mdma (aka extacy) or mda (much better trippier extacy variety) over a period of maybe 2h from first to last.

2: listen to these 2 tunes (maybe about 1h in or so, or when you dont know your own name anymore, whichever comes first) this is a good time to listen to these.

3: done.

I don't talk about such things much, on purpose, but I'm quite literally as atheist as it gets, a natural disposition I've had since my earliest memories, reinforced by years of careful consideration and education and research. I've long since "put the topic to rest" in my day to day and try to not even give the topic any time in my brain anymore, reclaim all of that time/energy henceforth.

It's great, for me. I'm successful about 98% of the time.

Anyway.

Awesome producing, mixing song writing and use of synths and real instruments. Well worth a listen.

Really like this track

Awesome live too

Turns out the Business Casual label's Bandcamp page sells their entire discography for a dollar. That's a lot of music to dig through. This one just struck me as kind of fun.

I've been pretty obsessed with this one lately. Such a cool jam. I'm trying to capture this kind of thing in my own work. Not necessarily the style, but the vibe. So dope.

Frankly, Fantom demos right now. Been listening to them off and on for days.

When I haven't, I've been writing so mood music has been playing, videogame soundtracks from Undertale and Deltarune through the SEGA and Anarchy Online catalog.

Another one I stumbled on from the Business Casual discography. There's a surprisingly HUGE variety of music on that label. Anyway I know this one is a total ripoff of that whole French House thing from a few years back, and the tracks even tell you who they sampled in the titles, but they're so much mindless fun. Like a concentrated version of late 80's groove.

Old school listening/vinyl collecting - Post Disco Boogie/NYC Club/Disco(Not Disco)/Some Italo/Freestyle(that I only discovered recently via reading about the Chicago House beginnings out of interest), basically the music that started it all(Alongside Funk, Electro, Hip Hop and disco).

New school vinyl buying for gettin back to mixing(which I haven't bothered with for ages) - liking some of the new Breakbeat / Electro hybrids alot, some of the more pure Electro mid tempo stuff(avoid the faster hard stuff), some of the Deep House with a break instead of 4 to the floor patterns, some acid / techno / even industrial styled breaks too and a touch of 4x4 beats. A mixed bag as long as I like it. KSKY, Bud Burroughs, DAWL, Lauer, Keith Tucker, Neu Verboten etc etc to name a few. Most of the prefered tracks are the b-sides / or A2 etc.

Their is some really good stuff coming out atm - I feel inspired again!

I noticed Bleep Techno is making a slight return!

Spirit of Eden by Talk Talk is on constant play at the moment.

Been a few years, but by God, what an album. One of the finest ever.
