The path is: TouchOSC (iPad) > OSCulator > Logic Pro > emagic amt8 > Studio Electronics ATC-Xi
With the right hand I'm playing the ATC via MIDI on a Kurzweil K2VX.
That's the MIDI CC assignments i've used:
And that's the interface in detail:
The idea was to have all the needs in the same panel in order to control almost everything under one hand and explore and experiment. I'm going to add a filter cartridge selection button, this is the only thing that lacks. All the MW, AT, PB and velocity things must be mapped on the hardware's panel because they can't be controlled via MIDI.
Thank you so much, analogholic! (I've just updated the main post with some details :P)
I'm using Logic Pro only for routing the Kurzweil's MIDI notes to the ATC. You can use even a simple standalone hardware MIDI interface or any DAW you like :P
looks and sounds GREAT. seems like a great interface for ATC-Xi
yrs or more ago there were rumours SE is gonna come out with a keyboard version of ATC-Xi, with some knobs for immediate editing onboard. alas it seems it wasn't in the cards.
i really wish they went for a keyboard performance synth with knobs, and if they would finally move to hardware envelopes (like moog music, FR and tom oberheim stuff use, to name a few), and give up their smudgy slow software envs. othe than that i really like SE sound, esp their filters.
sidenote: dunno if ATC-Xi is any faster from regular ATC-X, if anyone has compared ?

Couldn´t have said it better !!!
Man, if my SE-1 had 2 hardware envelopes like the Voyager, I would be in heaven ! (The 2 additional envelopes could still be software) Same thing for ATC range even if they are faster than the SE-1. (And mine is "snappified")
While we´re at it, let´s throw in some "osc slop" ala DSI (or something even better) to have some oscillator drift !!! They are a bit too stable as they are now.
Unfortunately, there's no download page on the website. I tried to send an email to federico (at) federicosolazzo (dot) com, but it returned to me with the mail failure and mailbox full message error. Where else can I find the zip with the patch? Thanks.
