Thank for clearing that up Rich thumbsup

Had my doubts tbh. But I hope Korg is watching all the enthusiasm over the future of the Monotron. Seems to have caused quite a stir!

I'd never have guessed Well, actually, I thought it pretty obvious..

1, No manufacturer would allow their developers to publicly discuss unreleased products in such a way tutt
2, No manufacturer would employ someone to develop a musical instrument that contains a sequencer when A, They can't even spell the word "Sequencer" and B, Can't demonstrate having basic knowledge of how a piano keyboard is laid out.
3, Who in their right mind would even think about putting a Sampler and USB on a tiny portable synth who's main asset is the fact it is supposed to be pure analogue? Midi maybe, but a sampler!? USB??

And for the record FSK1138, I've made more real hardware than your over active imagination could conjure up in a month of sundays fuuck

Or.........put out a proper monosynth at a similar price point to mopho keyboard. I'd much prefer that than a whole range of what are esentially just toys.

Here for the gear

this is just getting out of hand -

i have been in contact from day one with modders in- japan- not "US"
so

@Rich "Sorry to spoil the fun," Marketing Specialist Korg USA, Inc.

--------------!!! i never said i was working for korg !!!!-------------

i SAID i HAD "CONTACTED KORG" and that they expressed a interest in my mod -

"there has been MUCH interest from KORG in my concept unit."

KORG JAPAN not KORG US
- seems like they are more open to
customer input

YouTube - We love monotron!! [Movie version]

-------------------------------------

there is a modular unit - cv sequencer - midi controlled -wii... and more
long before these mods were posted on youtube
- i had my "drunk photoshopped" concept -

-- my hope was that KORG would realize that they really have something here
and release a updated version --

@Rich there is INTEREST -- make it and people will buy it
YouTube - We love monotron!! [Movie version]

-- at this time i would like to make this statement
the unit is no longer called the" korg montron pro "
but the "PROTRON K" this will be a -one off mod-
and is not affiliated with korg inc.
i will make details of my mod public
on youtube in july when i get my units to mod
i was told "june " by moog audio but korg canada now says" july "

ask richard if there are any units shipping to montreal canada
or just contact korg canada yourself

- i am closing my gearsluts account -
i got no time for this -

FSK1138

That's right buddy.

Cause you just got a one month ban. It was obvious from the start you actually haven't done anything. You were just attention whoring and posting FALSE information. You didn't made any kind of sequencer because you are incapable of doing that.

One can clearly conclude that just by looking at your pathetic screenshot or by observing your typing skills. Both are on the level of a 7 year old.

This is a serious board, not kindergarten backyard. Go back to your 8chan.

Hi, I'm the devil's advocate.
Don't forget that this guy lives in Montreal where about 70% of the population speaks French (with a really crappy accent btw, haha).

aside from the fact that a midi sequencer or midi cv mod would take all of 2 whole days to write software for thanks to the arduino platform and a pre made midi library...

attiny chip plus arduino bootloader and midi library functions with some easy to write in c basic note on / off sequencer with possibly added filter cutoff control would be childs play. hardest part would be redesigning the power supply to accept 9 volt battery vs. the 2 1.5v aaa cels in there now and that's also childs play.

basically yeah what don said, this is a kid with no real knowledge of how to do any of what he/she's claiming is going to be done. cause if they had the knowledge to add an extra filter and cv sequencer they'd know that serial midi off an mcu is trivial especially as it's already most of the way there done for you...

wasn't too hard, I'll have to look into that arduino library, this was just avr-gcc.

still doesn't work with some seqs though.
