Patch panel versions were IN STOCK at one point this month, so probably not more than 2-3 weeks average.

MIDI-CV's are shipping next week, probably a huge queue for those.

well the tone of the telemark reminds me of the sys100 a little, wondered if the sem was the same. and if so it wouldn't really add much to my colour pallet as i ready have the sys100. though your demo doesn't sound much like a sys100 at all!

yeah, but when tweaking the resonance, it just reminds me of the model 101

and I like the lead thing at the end, cool shifting kinda tone. I'd be interested to know what's modulating what there...are the oscs synced?

No dude, get back on the list for an SEM. It'll be worth whatever wait you have to endure.

I didn't cancel it because of the wait. I cancelled it because I couldn't afford it! I was going to just get it anyway & then pay the credit card off each month. But after seing the MFB Microzwerg I thought it was more my budget + it has a lot more features than the SEM & also has MIDI input & the patch options. I doubt very much it will sound as good as the SEM seing as how it's one of the best sounding monosynths out there. But the Microzwerg will certainly be a lot of fun & it won't break the bank like the SEM. Sold to me then .......... but if I win the lottery tonight I'm ordering both versions of the new SEM

new little demo thing

first third-ish is the Voyager and the SEM with the Voyager's envelopes modulating the SEM instead of the SEM's envelopes. i am using the Logic arp to midi to the voyager. so it sounds really sloppy compared to the rest which is just the SEM controlled by volta. the kick is an Mbase 11 and the hh/snare is Ultrabeat. no fx, comp, eq, etc..

I used to own a large 100M System and I still own original SEM's (Four Voice).
They don't sound very similar.
They are only slightly similar in two ways - a resonant filter, both are analogue.

SEM is one of the most versatile analogue synths and one of my favourites.
(Haven't heard the re-issue in person)

aw damn

around 50 seconds, the overtones on the higher-pitched arpeggio are killer. thing sounds super-cool

a little while ago I was fiending for the new SEM hard...then I just decided I couldn't afford it and I haven't thought about it too much since then. I'll have one some day.

The upper registers of the SEM (new version) are killer. I think I need to do a die by side with the original, this and the Telemark.... when I get the money (Too bad I didn't have other priorities)

The SEM looks awesome, I just hope it leads onto a two voice or four voice keyboard. Imagine that in this day and age!

I can definately see a market for a Two-Voice today. I borrow one from time to time and it's incredible. Based on my experience with the old Two-Voice, I'd get a new one in a heartbeat.
