best product for glitchy stuff

I'm a radio imaging producer getting into sound design. I get the basics of making hits and swooshes, but really at a loss when it comes to creating the small glitchy sounds that slice through speakers. What do you think is the best plug-in for creating such sounds? I guess more so a sound generator than a tonal instrument....

by "copy paste copy paste etc" i meant that he should do it manually and not rely on a plug-in

for live stuff though, the finger takes the cake

I can't believe no one has mentioned Sugar Bytes Effectrix. Step-sequencer + glitch FX with more parameters than you can shake a stick at. Done and done.

Can only tell you what i use.Usually molar with samples i recorded then fxed with buffer override-glitch-reaktor-maxmsp rerecorded, chopped and reinserted into molar and recorded live if not too complicated.I often use randome efx tho.For exact reproducable results its best imo to record as audio-chop-edit.

I'm not really into glitchy stuff, but I believe an SP-555 is capable of some pretty sick stuff if done correctly.

I keep seeing this question over and over.

Seriously though just do a google search for just the word "glitch".

It will be your first result.
