OK, one of the tracks I'm working on requires some good suitcase rhodes.
At the moment I'm just using EVP88 inside Logic, but it's pretty thin sounding..
I really miss my Nord Lead 3 for keys sounds.. really excelled at them.

Anywayz, can someone please do me a massive favour and put my attached sample through a good Rhodes rompler for me and send me the part back?
Preferably a suitcase style 73 if that's cool.

yousendit or something?

Will be super appreciative!!

Dude, here in the UK it's only now 9:13 am so many of us were asleep when you first posted.

I'll give your MIDI file a run today with some different libraries. - give you a few variations.

I don't see how your nord 3 was anywhere near as good at EP emulation compared to the Logic EP plug tho.

Oh.. thought it was mid-day?

Anywayz, thanks a lot!
The NL3 has AMAZING key sounds. Similar to the Nord Electro.
They are slightly unusual, but great none-the-less.

Johnny - got a small group of WAVs for you based on your MID file - wasn't sure which octave you intended the line to played as it defaults to quite a high range so given you a couple of options.

I've used an old sample library from X-samples which is of a 88 note rhodes stage with four dynamic layers - I droped the velocity of your file as it was playing mainly the loudest layers making it very harsh. The other sample group I used was from East West's Goliath and also based on the 88 note Rhodes.

Email me your address and I'll You-send-it you the wavs. ( [email protected] )

Here's a little demo I played of the X-sample Rhodes patch
