innovations in wavetable/graintable synths?

I'm looking for a synth (hardware or software) that can play through multiple wavetables and sweep independently through different harmonic bands.

The closest thing I have found is Camel Audio's Alchemy. But, I can't tell if can do everything that I am looking for.

Anyone heard of anything like this? Maybe even in Reaktor?

This doesn't sound like wavetable or granular synthesis... more like additive resynthesis, so yeah, Alchemy might be capable of doing this.

I have Cameleon 5000, and it can morph between two sounds by interpolating their harmonics, but not independently (as in, morph this harmonic first, and then that harmonic, and so on), but with careful programming and using the vector synthesis features, I'm sure you could obtain that effect in Cameleon.

Or... if you really want completely independant control of each harmonic... it can be done in Max/MSP or even PureData.

are you looking to sweet through SAMPLES made out of wavetables? if so, you'll need a "re-sampling" synth.. like Alchemy...

Kyma, of course, will do everything you want, and more.

if you're not needing to import your own samples, and just use oscillator wavetables... the Virus TI line is great as is the waldorf microwaves.

This seems to do it all (with the expanded synthesis options): Acxel2 ...the formula 1 of synthesizer. It is based on his earlier work: MATRIXSYNTH: Technos Acxel Resynthesizer. Looks Kyma-esque.

note on the Hertz Donut the options for "tracking" (it has a built in second osc for FM) *good *bad and everyone's fave: *stupid
now how can you not love a piece of kit that has the option "stupid"
