Thank you!
Those sounds are off an incredible structure of 8 delays I took from the Korg DL8000R Multitap Delay and recreated in the H8000, adding a couple of things the Korg missed.
There is a large part of this library based on this structure and the many things it can do.

Italo... I am speechless. So I'll just have to make do with typing.

Your patches for the Eclipse are out of this world! They transform it into like a dozen or more vintage FX units. It's like all of a sudden I feel I have five H3000s, a couple of PCM70s, 2290s, and a host of others. The fundamental tone you've put in place for many of them is exactly what I was looking for: deep, dark and old. Ancient. Man, oh man I'm over the moon.

Thus far, I've only scratched the surface, but I couldn't resist recording a quick clip for you. Here's a micro-tuned Prophet-5 running through an MF-104m and into your Anubis patch. Musically, it's a bit absurd, as it goes from like New Age to Space Age and back again. But it captures the moment -- a journey full of unexpected twists and turns.

Mighty stuff I hear!

You just got the whole point of the libraries.
Been tryin' to do my homework for the last 30 yrs... sounds like I learned a thing or two, right?
I'm glad you are having such a moment with the sounds and I know you will want more...
You are on the path to an Orville or H8000. It's just that you don't know it ... yet!

FUN!

I'll say! The best part is this feeling of collaboration. I'm really not into the "gotta-do-it-all" approach. It's a genuine pleasure (and privilege) to be able to incorporate the work of others into my own work... allowing it to be influenced... with a sense of trust and abandonment.

Can anyone with 3000 D/SE confirm that when scrolling thru the programs using main dial, sometimes there is a lag when you are scrolling above certain programs, as if the unit's response slows down and its no longer smooth scrolling.

Don

mention some presets names where the lag occurs on your unit and I'll check here.

I think it was 700-710 area on D/SE where it slowed down. So you can start at 690.

There is a slightly different stepping there, when you reach #700.
It feels like the KNOB needs more action to go to the next preset... but it's always been there. I wouldn't worry, Don.
As soon as you #800 (Mod Factory I/II presets) things go back to a more fluid stepping.
Mine is a B unit expanded to D/SE.

Thanks! Yes, exactly that feeling! As if the knob is tired.

I've noticed this on friends D/SE. My unit is H3500 with previous owner expanding it to B/lite, and has the same thing, although on different presets. In fact it even feels slower on some of the presets. I verified with Eric (Suit And Tie Guy) and his H3500 has the same behavior.

As if - the more presets you stuck in, the slower it becomes!

I wonder if someone with the basic (non expanded) H3000, 3000B, 3000S, 3000SE could verify this for us. I bet that machine won't slow down at all on neither on the presets!!

Hard to know why this happens...
maybe the fact presets are split across different EPROMS... some difference in their speed/capability/???

anybody know if is possible to fine pitch from external midi controller? i find the way to use an external midi controller for pitch and feedback, but no fine pitch

i try also to change the range of pitch for example, it works with a limited range but i would prefer to have the classic eventide range (0.5 to 2.0) but with a fine pitch external controller as well

Not too clear...

but when it comes to controlling fine pitch ... it's a nightmare.
I believe MSB LSB MIDI is the way to go as it allows much finer MIDI quantization... but I have never tried that.

hey thanks mate... so are u saying to use a different msb lsb Source?
i used modulation wheel source, assign CC01 to a midi controller and it works.... but at the end i finish to use the encoder on the h3000 just for fine so it's ok....

but if someone has experience or tips is super welcome

Yes...but I have never worked with that stuff.
Somewhere in the manual MSL and LSB are mentioned for the much finer control range they allow...

I wouldn't really touch this mess myself, and I've coded Midi Hex since it's birth, somehow the H3000 does not like being controlled by certain units and in certain programs, and on certain channels - yes it can play nicely even when talking about general midi. Though in Deep control of the H3000 & programs to control the H3000, the guy who was ever so close in creating a "FULL H3000 EDITOR MIDI PROGRAM In SOFTWARE" got 95% of the way there then had a Heart Attack and died poor dude, so unfortunately the software was abandoned and to be honest, if you want to go in deep then SoundDiver will be your best bet, it will burp and fart like crazy though so don't expect to much such as controlling MSB/LSB and Pitch from a Mod Wheel or Bender - The H3000 almost has a mind of it's own and parameter values are in the back of the manual - while the H8000FW in it's day was nearly Human! (Well...It Spoke rather well!)

Simply Stunning my old friend, absolutely brilliant! I doubt there is a unit you could not get the very last drip out of. Great work Italo, you are Sir, indeed a consummate professional who is versed and studied over a seriously Long Period of time, shame people have no idea what a smooth Guitar Player you are as well!

If the was an Applause emoticon I'd throw in a Hundred!

Cheers

Yes.....I understand this might very well be the case, as I have a DSX here and a DSE expanded to H3500 DFX/E Minus any use of certain Broadcast presets, and there is a slight hang in the wheel, are those tide proms Don or the naughty poker iChips, the ones with naked ladies on them, like in a pack of cards scenario? I agree: Italo is one SMOOTH guitar player! The best part of auditioning all the demos for his Eclipse libraries was listening to his playing!

Well done Italo, that's right, Richard Zvonar got the H3000 95% of the way there and then some, such a shame we lost him at a crucial point in time!
