I also love sampling analogue. BUT I do find that it sounds different when sampled, and I lose all that subtle variation in timbre that you get; I can usually notice the difference, even with my less-than-perfect hearing.

I know, that part sucks, but there are few things that I hate more than fighting an analog synth's tuning/scaling, so this is the ultimate workaround for me. When I'm using Renoise, I make it even lazier and use a sample tuning extension that pitches everything to C. It's so wonderful being able to actually use my analog synths!

You can also just apply 5 different S&H + keyboard scaling to randomly modulate different parameters in the sampler by 1%.

Then, I don't notice the static timbre any more!

Funily enough, most analogue synths these days are taking the same approach in firmware

The Fantom G had that as well, and it sounded really nice, especially for thick pads made up of Synthesizers.com samples.
