is there any better vocoder than arboretum hyperprism dx 2.5 ? can you help ?

extracted from original TC FireworX Demo CD track26 .wav 14.620 KB
.wma lossless file size was : 6.249 KB
.ape insane : 6.278 KB
.mpc --quality 10.00 400 average.kbps 4.145 KB

i decided to go for .mpc
since its almost as good as lossless, audible diference its almost inaudible!
http://audio.rightmark.org RMAA 5.5 tests

Musepack to download directshow filters ,codec, decoder, and mpc batch encoder/decodder

BEWARE!!!!
swap L-R in channels arboretum hyperprism vocoder!
or...
import and split L and R channels! in two mono tracks! and route to Stereo Group!
----> carrier and modulator are swapped in most vocoders!!!
voice/carrier should be right,
modulator should be left
it depends in your vocoder!!
ive tested, nuendo 2.2 vocoder, akai vst vocoder, waves 5.2 vocoder, prosonic orange vocoder, arboretum hyperprism vocoder
and of course the tc FireworX vocoder included in this .zip

i just wanna know if theres other vocoder better than arboretum hyperprism 2.5 DX, can you help ?
http://dl.winsite.com/files/34/ar2/w...x_2.5_demo.zip
arboretum.com disapeared , but hyperprism dx 2.5 vocoder is the best so far
would like to test novation k-station vocoder, tc powercore vocoder to know if its diferent than fireworks vocoder, etc...

I like the one in Logic, but hardware (doepfer) rules, IMHO.

Hi,
attached its 3 vocoder files in .mpc --quality 10
in .mpc becouse sounds better than .mp3 and its smaller, almost as good as lossless tested with
http://audio.rightmark.org RMAA5.5
you will need free decoder/encodder Musepack
inluded are:
the arboretum hyperprism vocoder
the logic audio evoc 20 tc with 20 bands, the other logic vocoder does not have audio input
the starplugs vocoder
taked the tc fireworkx demo cd , extracted track26 ("included in first post")

i hear & think that arboretum hyperprism wins so far, i like the synth of the prosonic orange, but...
the vocoder i like arboretum so far..
tested vocoders:
eiosis vocoder that makes really weird vingate sounds Eiosis ELS Vocoder
Starplugs Vocoder *** Starplugs VST plugins for Windows - Music - and Post - Production***
the akai vst vocoder i dont like
the waves vocoder i dont like,
the nuendo vocoder i dont like,
the prosonic orange vocoder i dont like..
the logic audio evoc 20 tc with 20 bands, i dont like, has interesting tweak knobs but...
so far i like more the arboretum hyperprism vocoder, the eiois has a cool retro vintage robot sounds, and the
starplugs has a warm sound, still i like more the arboretum
the evoc and the straplugs could improove with a compressor, but....
can you help?
i want to test/hear the WALDORF’s D-Coder for POWERCORE with the fireworks demo cd files track26 L-R attached in last
post, can you help ?
D-Coder
http://www.tcelectronic.com/media/Dcoder_Female_Vox.mp3
http://www.tcelectronic.com/media/Dc...Drum_Loops.mp3
http://www.tcelectronic.com/media/Dc...poken_Word.mp3
hearing the demos, it sounds verry good and way better than tc fireworx, sounds warm & detailed
if only those demos had the carrier & modulator sounds separated (synth & voice separated!)
like the tc fireworkx cd track26

also im trying to test the novation vocoder, the v-station/bass station does not come with vocoder :(
also the quasimidi vocoder
others?
can you help?
if you post a file, please post normalized, any format you like, .la .ape .flac .mpc .mp3 .wav .aiff .wma lossless not
.ogg .aac .ra .rm .wma lossy .mp4 becouse they distort too much the signal
thanks

Just to say that we will release a new version of the ELS Vocoder in a few days which will feature a side chain input, so you will be able to use any track as an external carrier, insted of the internal ELS Vocoder synthesizer.

This is very interesting for those who wants to vocode their own sounds, and it will be possible to use the internal synth and the external input at the same time.

Hope this helps !

Fabrice,
Eiosis
