Not sure if I can get this right away, but it’s definitely top of my list for now.
Here's another good one:

Those two demos I posted are enough to clinch the deal for me (not quite ready to order, but I'm feeling very strongly about it).

If this had dual SEM Filters as well, it'd be an instabuy.

Never any farther away than something like this.

Sure, not included. But very much available.

A 168hp euro case is coincidentally the same width as a Matriarch, too. Image below not scaled.

Ha, i was just looking at this module again. For a dual external sound procesor, sem filters seem geat, the way the resonance colours the source.

A filled up 168 HP case would cost a lot more, though.

yeah, you can just hear the quality in those oscillators. Next to my SE Boomstar stuff, its some of the best I ever heard. Up there also with the Macbeth and MFOS, and MOTM synths... Excellent playing too.

Truth.

No rush, though. You know... Like Johnny Cash without the factory job and thefts, one piece at a time.

Besides, the AJH Next Phase would be a killer addition for lush and clean stereo analog Phasing to go with the stereo analog Delay and Filters.

Add some more Modulation sources, things the Matriarch can't even do, and before you know it, you'll have a combination and unique Instrument that virtually no one else has.

You might be homeless too, but hey, go for it.

it would be cool if Moog developed a version with 4 pairs of oscillators, instead of 4 single oscs

after playing an Oberheim FVS I was pretty blown away by the sound of the extra oscs in there

even better: an 8 voice Matriarch, which would let you tie them together & more

but probably $$

*edit* I suppose you could augment the M with some external oscs to achieve similar effect

Exactly...

I have a Three-Voice (TVSP + SEM Pro) sitting close to to the Matriarch for just such inter-patching shenanigans.

I really like the ((( stereo ))) quad-oscillators idea though. It would be amazing on the M.

As is, the Matriarch is really one of the best sounding synths ever made, imo. She deserves her Moniker.
