Wow. Looks like it might have a built in modified Touche. I've sworn off buying any gear for a while....Looks like I picked the wrong month to give up buying synths.

That looks absolutely amazing! Hope it's not in the MatrixBrute price territory...

Hopefully, the Expressive E Touche modulation pad rumors are true!?

Will this be the first modern polyphonic synth with poly after-touch? Arturia have been killing it lately.

Looking forward to this release. Congrats to Arturia.

Personally, I'm really thanking Moog for releasing the One. It's really pushed the bar on the competition. Better days are ahead!

I get "issue not found" when I click the link. I take it this issue isn't out yet?

Looks intriguing in any case. It has a matrix like Matrixbrute just from looking at it.

No specs yet, but my guess it's going to be polyphonic, and expensive.

I was just about to order Prophet-6.
Now the WAIT is over, and it's going to be 61-keys(!) ARTURIA PolyBrute instead.

Me too. But I'll have to wait for the upcoming Sequential synth.

It never ends

It can't be less then a matrixbrute.. I'm guessing $3500. Maybe three grand.. looks really dope!! What a freaking beast!!

That looks really interesting! Nicke touch with the Touche pad also!

It should be considerably more expensive than the Matrixbrute, given that it must have at least four, but more probably six or eight voices. Of they didn’t go for digital oscillators, which I don’t think since all the previous Brutes have been analog.

Even if a new synth is not mpe, it might indicate supporting at least poly-at for non-mpe, "normal" use with other soft/hardware. True or not, but embedding touche into polybrute is a nice touch whoever made it

Agreed - most likely in the $2,500 - $3,250 range is my guess.

Meaning I'll be ignoring threads about it like I do the Moog One, Quantum and The River. Unobtanium synths for people like me.

I've touched all those modern classics. They don't make music any better than anything else. Fun toys but you have all the tools you need.

(the groove, drums, vocals and arrangements matter so much more)

from what i can tell from the image

2 oscillators
noise/crosmod/ringmod/external section

2 filters

3 envelopes, 3 lfo's

matrix with fixed sources and assigneable destinations, perfect.

Fx and sequencer section on the right

the only surprise is going to be the button/led section left of the oscillators. seems to be too many options for just two oscillators, so maybe they are dual or layered?

I always did think the matrixbrute sound would make a great poly.

touché-style controller seems awesome.

There also seems to be a ribbon-like indentation in the wood border above the keys...

No flip-up panel, unfortunately, and i wish they'd lose the faux wood panneling. Looks tacky here.

I'm guessing 8 voices - 2999 euro.

I wouldn't expect them to build a new filter for the poly version

True. I don't currently own an analog poly, so any new entry in that class of synths intrigues me, especially if it's on the more affordable side. Haven't come across one yet I would drop everything and run to the store to grab though, yet.

$2k is pretty much my absolute hard cap for a single synth though, and it would have to be THAT synth... the one I would be buried with.

Back on the Polybrute... my quasi-schmeducated guess based on the pic is it's based on the Matrixbrute architecture... 2 complex oscillators, 1 more basic one, a Steiner-Parker + ladder filter, 3 envelopes, 3 LFOs (?? looking again, what I thought were LFOs are probably the mixer section). It appears to have a sequencer/arpeggiator section too.
