If anyone's interested, the original files of that 20mm lens pre youtubes. Last night, hazy with a bright moon, but still plenty of stars to see.

Facing south, so there are star trails from the long exposures. ISO 100, 200, and 400, just to see where the noise started.

I'm biased so like this comment (true or not):
"Cool video, this is once again, proof that the GH2 is the last camera a film maker will ever need."

Some of this footage would make for a good dystopian sci fi:

I own that anamorphic lens - Henri Chrétien designed it for 8mm cameras

That's really cool footage. Love the clouds too.

Hey so is it the lenses that make the world look round rather than a disc cause I have notice nearly all the photos make the world look like it is round?

Know what I mean

I remember playing my first "multitrack" (bounced) recording for a friend at college and he said it sounded like porno music. Oh well

At the time it deflated me but now I may want to recapture that (with a good vocalist):

“You know that one can fly with wings: you have not yet learned
about flying without wings. You are familiar with the wisdom of those
who know, but you have not yet learned the wisdom of those who know
not."

Zhuangzi circa BC250 (alegedly)

Disclaimer: I have only had control of a glider once. i really enjoyed it. Had to save up a lot of cigerette tokens to do so.

Sounds like you did well to recover it...!

I was helping at a stately home event with a Jet Ranger pilot. Got a free trip out, just had to load and buckle up some passengers including some very attractive ladies

On the way home he spotted another event and started looking down, he did not realise he was pushing the cyclic stick forward, I kept my eye on the VNE indicator, as he went past the limit, I gave him a tap and he gently pulled back, you could see the blades had started going out of track by then...

I got paid for a fun day out and possibly saving us all
